Founder of N2 Air, Norman Nie, is an American social scientist, university professor, inventor, and pioneer technology entrepreneur. Nie was born in St. Louis, Missouri, educated at University of the Americas in Mexico City, Washington University in St. Louis, and Stanford University in California.

Nie moved fulltime to Sun Valley, Idaho in the early 90’s. While in Sun Valley, he was on a number of boards across the country which resulted in frequent traveling. Nie found traveling in the Northwest difficult and time consuming due to the commercial airlines’ schedule and routing. He discovered flying privately was “the very best and very safest”. Nie’s private travels started off as a composite of fractional ownerships, then in 2002 established his own charter company, Nie Planes, LLC dba N2 Air. His vision for N2 Air is to provide time savings, cost efficiency for its industry, and great transportation. He aims at offering the Very Best and the Very Safest!
